UsageThe application of Cemflow Sealer helps
to protect the floor surface and ease maintenance by reducing the
adhesion of dirt and other debris, whilst eliminating dusting. Cemflow Sealer is UV stable and resistant to many of the chemicals commonly found in industrial applications. Cemflow Sealer has excellent abrasion resistance and a high bond strength. Materials Supplied5 litre, two component kit. CoverageThe first coat of Cemflow Sealer should be applied diluted 1:1 with water, and subsequent coats should be applied neat. Typical coverage of the first coat is approximately 10m² litre of diluted material, and the typical coverage of subsequent coats is 10m² per litre of neat material. Coverage rates are approximate and will vary according to amount of overcoating during application and substate porosity. Each subsequent coat will generally require less material. StorageStore at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C. Shelf LifeApproximately 12 months if stored in unopened containers and under good conditions. Technical Information

Application InstructionsSURFACE PREPARATION Surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free from dust or other debris or contaminants. Cemflow Sealer can be used to seal Cemflow Topping and Cemflow Topping Pigmented as soon as 1 hour after the screed has set, dependant on temperature and humidity conditions. APPLICATION For best results, mix component A with component B for a minimum of 2 minutes using a high speed mixer, such as a drill with paddle attachment. Once mixed leave to rest for 5 minutes, and then remix to consistency at a slow speed. Prior to application of neat Cemflow Sealer it is recommended that a dilute coat 1:1 Cemflow Sealer/Water be applied. This should be followed by 1 or 2 coats of neat Cemflow Sealer. Pour neat Cemflow Sealer into a roller tray and, using a roller, apply it evenly over the surface at a rate of approximately 10m² per litre. When applying a second coat of Cemflow Sealer, we would recommend that this be applied at an angle of 90 degrees to the first coat to ensure complete coverage. Under typical conditions, a second coat can be applied approximately 1 hour after the first. Do not pour Cemflow Sealer directly onto the surface of Cemflow Topping. SLIP RESISTANCE Cemflow Sealer has excellent slip resistance in dry conditions, however when wet, the risk for slip is greatly increased. Spillages should be cleaned up as soon as possible. If the surface is likely to be used in a wet environment and a slip resistant finish is required please contact our Technical Services Department for more details. CHEMICAL RESISTANCE Cemflow
Sealer offers a level of chemical resistance to many commonly found
chemicals in commercial and industrial applications. In environments
where the floor is to be in regular contact with chemicals, or for
improved chemical resistance, we would recommend the application of a
water-based epoxy coating. Please contact our Technical Services Department for more details. In
keeping with good housekeeping, any spillages should be cleaned as soon
as possible, ideally within 30 minutes in order to reduce the risk of
staining. CLEANING Once mixing, application and finishing are complete, tools can be cleaned with warm soapy water. CURING TIME Cemflow Sealer should be tack-free in approximately 1 hour at 20°C and ready to accept light foot traffic after 6 hours. Wheeled traffic can be accepted after 24 hours, but in heavy-duty applications, the floor should not be used for 3 days to allow full drying and curing of the sealer.
